STC Acoustical Consulting LTD. reviewed the acoustical requirements within Concourse, Holdrooms and Connector Tunnels to optimize speech intelligibility over the Public Address (PA) system. This review was conducted by assessing surface finishes in order to calculate and predict Reverberation Time. Recommendations to create a comfortable acoustical environment—with acceptable perceived noise level and “Good” speech intelligibility through the Public Address System—were provided.
